Luke is back from his trip to Seattle. I really liked it over there, which is good. Although, I don't know how he can like it that much. Apparently everything is so much nicer in Washington then it is here. I can see the differences but I Love my town. Though I know I need to get out for a while and travel and do the whole school thing too. Did you ever think that you just need to travel and leave everything behind for a while. I think that it is very important for all us "Educated" folk to travel. Better to be a citizen of the world then an "Ignorant American" not that the process of going out and sight seeing in other countries is going to do it but it would be a start. No we all need to be much more informed then we are about the world, and local news. Not just news either, but History, Art, Language, and the whole "Culture" of being a global citizen. Let's face it many of us are just not up to that challenge. We would rather live life and not care about or do anything about the outside world. Not that we need to be going out and trying to "help" everyone or make things right and donate a life time. But the mere fact we take time to educate our selves would improve our situation. And EVERYONE stop talking about the French this and the Germans that about not supporting the U.S. The French people have been one of the best friends that the United States has known. (incase you are wondering I do support the whole Iraq thing).
On a lighter note I love to travel and Luke hates it. Somehow the 3 of us (Jared, Luke and Chris) are supposed to move to Seattle or something. I still have Moving to NYC to think about. Who knows, but I think that it may be the best thing for me to move to NYC and finish school there. Though, it would be rough. I can't imagine leaving my family and friends behind... but I guess it’s a good trip if I want to travel and learn about "entertainment" on a global scale. I think it’s important to know the roots of your craft, or passion. I want to learn about ancient theater, classical and contemporary. I want to see Indie films, French, German, I want to see a real Opera in Italy, and I would love to witness what is real Japanese theater.
