Random Yearbook quote... am I dating my self here

this quote is from my class of 99 year book.

"It takes a moment to make a friend. It's being one that takes a life time."

What does that entail? Any thoughts or ideas? Here is how I feel.

You put up with all the imperfections. We fight but always make up, we can just sit and not talk and have the best conversation. You are always there. I love you, but not how you think, more then I can say. Sometimes I annoy you because I need a good laugh, and so do you. You make me laugh at how lame I can be. Most importantly I trust you. My life experiences would lessened without you. More then anything nothing really stands in our way. You are understanding.

I'm sure there is more to come on that subject. But all that really matters is I really do mean it when I say FRIEND.

I'm blessed, and I know it. I've never had to worry about spending the night or day alone because you have all been there.
